This method uses a transfer paper to transfer images on any part of the clothing. It gives a perfect smooth print with a very high colour cover and crisp edges. This method is used mainly for the small orders  in case of difficulty in applying direct print, for instance:  made caps, knitwear or woven fabric with uneven surfaces such as Lacoste.

Transfer printing on apparel

Transfer printing is one of the most frequently chosen and widely used methods of decorating apparel. The technology combines high print quality with great versatility of applications, which certainly contributes to its popularity. It also makes it possible to apply any graphics – from simple logos to complex, multicolour designs – onto various types of fabric. Thanks to the precision and durability of the print, this technique is readily chosen both by companies producing promotional apparel and by clothing brands that value aesthetics and functionality. Transfer printing technology

Transfer printing is a process consisting of several stages. First the design is printed as a mirror image on special transfer paper or transfer film, using suitable inks or toners. Then, using a heat press, the image is transferred onto the fabric under high temperature and pressure. It is precisely this combination of heat and pressure that makes the pigment penetrate the structure of the material or bond permanently with its surface.

Transfer printing technology delivers very sharp, saturated colours and reproduces the finest details of the design. Importantly, this method also allows printing on dark fabrics and on surfaces that would be difficult to print on directly.

Transfer printing on fabric

A great advantage of transfer printing is that it can be used on many types of fabric. It can be applied to polyester, to blends of synthetic materials and to natural fabrics alike. A transfer print is resistant to external factors such as UV radiation, moisture and stretching, so it retains its appearance for a long time.

This technique works excellently in the production of sportswear, workwear and promotional apparel, as well as in the personalisation of individual garments. The high print quality allows both minimalist designs and elaborate graphics of photographic quality and detail.

Transfer printing on cotton

Cotton is one of the most popular materials used in the clothing industry. Transfer printing works excellently with cotton fabrics while delivering a durable and attractive result. For cotton we use special transfer papers and inks that penetrate the fibre structure, which lets us ensure high resistance of the print to washing and abrasion. This technology makes it possible to create prints on T-shirts, sweatshirts, cotton bags and caps. The colours stay vivid and the details sharp, even after many washing cycles and intensive use.

Transfer printing on garments

Thanks to its many advantages and its accuracy, transfer printing is used to decorate a wide range of garments. It can be used for printing on T-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, and also trousers or accessories. The print can be placed anywhere on the garment, including pockets, sleeves and other hard-to-reach areas. This allows the print to be personalised to the maximum and to meet the branding expectations set by clients.

Transfer printing is a method particularly valued in the production of short and medium runs of apparel, as well as in personalising garments for special occasions. The possibility of preparing the matrix quickly and the relatively low costs compared with other techniques make transfer printing an attractive solution both for large brands and for small companies.

Transfer printing on T-shirts

Printed T-shirts are a classic in the advertising and fashion industries. Transfer printing makes it possible to apply any design to a T-shirt – from a company logo, through advertising slogans, to elaborate illustrations. The result is durable, resistant to washing and pleasant to the touch, and the colours remain saturated for a long time.
